Hi.
I was wondering if there is a way to change the default color coding of the ball and stick models to internationally, scientifically used color coding of “CPK molecular models”.

Hi Michael,
Yes, it is possible to change all colors and radii in the Waltzing Atoms Lab. Remark: To send the updated exercises to the student apps, they have to be connected to the teacher’s class room.
This is how you do it:
In the Lab, select an exercise you want to change the colors of:
Right-click on the 3D-window and select ‘Exercise Styles’
Press ‘Save’ (I’ve changed hydrogen to white color in this example)
The main reason we did not choose white as default color of hydrogen is that the empty atoms slots are white in the Waltzing Atoms App
